Project One – Grid
Self-Critique
My design incorporates a minimum of 12 images & takes the entire picture plane. Going out into the trails, I chose this deer that stood a few feet away from me as my “object”. I successfully made connections between the deer I photographed in size and movement. All 12 images are a repetition of the same deer, moving as it eats.
I was semi successful in the use of the grid as an organizational tool, because even though I utilize 12 different images with different moments. I should have rather cut the pictures in half, that way the use of the grid would have had a more unify contrast.
I believe my design displays an understanding of repetition but due to the wrong size of paper it does not establish such a great visual flow.
Overall my design was executed in a professional manner. Each picture is 1.5in away from each other and a 2in white Bristol board going around.
